Metaphysical Philosophy of Planning a Journey

I would not dare speak for everyone, but I am pretty sure that many people love the Holiday Season. And why would they not? It is a wonderful time of the year, after all. ✨

Some people prefer spending this time at home with their families, friends, or loved ones. Some take a chance to go somewhere abroad to enrich the year with new experiences. So, those who are planning to travel this year, let us embark together on a metaphysical journey first. More specifically, we will travel across the metaphysical philosophy of planning the journey.

First things first. How do I choose the right date for starting the journey? Let’s say you are planning to go to the southwest. Check the Qi Men chart plotted for this date, and make sure that the southwest can be considered as a favorable direction for your journey.

However, I would recommend paying attention to the date of your return instead. You may need to deploy the method of Mystical Doors when choosing the date, time, and direction from which you depart back home. This will help you to understand what to expect from the rest of the year – whether it will be good or not; how things will go at home or work upon your return; and lastly, what your health will be. Therefore, I suggest paying attention to the date of return rather than to the departure date.

Another aspect that is worth paying attention to is the location of the star known as Five Yellow. It changes its location (southeast, northeast, west, etc.) each year and each month. Some advise not to embark on a journey if you must travel toward the direction of Five Yellow. However, it also depends on your circumstances. For instance, if you do not travel that much – it is worth paying attention to this star. The same applies if you plan to migrate and change your living place.

In general, I would not suggest paying a lot of attention to this star. I will explain why. Once I had an interesting conversation with my mentor in Singapore. I asked him whether people should refrain from traveling southeast since Five Yellow Star resides there this year. My mentor replied that lots of people from Singapore are traveling to Australia, while many people from Australia are visiting Singapore. Should they all stop traveling because something bad may happen to them?

Therefore, even though you have to be mindful when choosing the right date of departure or return, you should not lose common sense over it. I would recommend choosing a date that contains auspicious elements personally for you; the one that does not clash with the month or you. Additionally, consider favorable Qi Men structure of the day or hour depending on the duration of your journey. Use the hour structure if the journey will not last more than two weeks, if longer – pay attention to the day structure as well.

Lastly, clashes. If you are born in the year of Horse, you clash with the day of Rat. Check the Bazi section of the finastro.io web app to determine possible clashes and refer to the table below:

For instance, if you are traveling with someone else (spouse, children, or friends), I would not suggest choosing a day with a clash unless you have already bought the tickets. But if you did – simply get out of the house in the hour of the combination with the day. This way you would not have to change your plans and buy other tickets.

Naturally, the day may clash with the year and with the month. Some say that one should not do anything important on such days. In my experience, I had several flights on days that clashed with the month. Nothing serious happened, however, such things as delays or traffic jams may actually take place. Therefore, to avoid such problems, go out in advance, and be cautious. Choose a train over a taxi if possible.

To sum up, I advise choosing the date of your return rather than your departure date to know what to expect at home.

Most people tend to omit negative days, postpone vacations, and other important deeds, especially if they do not know techniques for eliminating negativity, such as a combination of the hour with the day. The “avoiding” approach may also work, however, be cautious not to end up with any dates left.
