In my opinion, there are two approaches to using Qi Men – one is active and another is passive. Active refers to energies – when we examine a chart following only one objective, to gain the support of the space and time energies at the moment of action. The passive approach implies analytic work (strategies, predictions, reading astrological birth charts, etc.). If you are interested in the first approach, an active one, I think you might find this article interesting.
In this regard, it might be useful for you to consider using Eight Doors of Qi Men:
Doors serve as a membrane between the realm of possibilities and our current reality. Each has its meaning and purpose. In essence, if you want to achieve a specific goal – use one of the above-mentioned Doors. This assumes that you already understand the basics of Qi Men, and if not, you can read more about Qi Men in my book, In The Access Zone: How To Turn “NO” Into “YES”.
You may also be interested in reading Sun Tzu’s, The Art of War. It is available on the bookshelves of every bookstore, taught in military academies, and serves as a source of knowledge and inspiration for business owners.
In essence, this ancient Chinese book describes the philosophy of warfare, which can be applied to modern settings, namely in the business world. But this is only half of the story, as many leave out the fact that Sun Tzu has been practicing the ancient art of Qi Men.
The underlying assumption of Qi Men is that time is not linear, nor homogeneous. In turn, time has both quantitative and qualitative characteristics. In Qi Men time is perceived as a heterogeneous cyclic structure, each point of which possesses energy of a certain quality.
These qualities are described by Qi Men factors, such as Doors, Deities, Stars, and Heavenly Stems, and by the qualities of the Qi Men Palaces of the Qi Men chart, where all these factors reside.
Hence, the Mystical Doors of Qi Men is an ancient art, dating back to military strategies of the past, and was originally applied on the battlefield.
Now, Qi Men’s purpose has slightly changed to meet the needs of the current world. Now it helps to win battles in the fight of your life, whether in personal life, business, or career. We resort to this art when we must challenge our fears, bad habits, weaknesses, and limiting beliefs.
This is especially important when the world faces challenges it is not prepared for; when it is no longer possible to make long-term plans because the future is too unpredictable to draw a clear path; when nothing is certain, and when circumstances change every day.
Even though we are limited in terms of long-term planning, we can still influence our future by making short-term plans – actions that we are determined to undertake today or tomorrow. If you must plan or act fast, use Qi Men. Doors is a tool oriented towards immediate actions.
Hence, if you want to act fast and reach goals effectively – use Qi Men art as a helpful tool along your path to success. If everything is done right, you will have the support of space and time energies, seeing events unfolding the way you want, and getting the results you need.
You can learn the basics of Qi Men by reading the book, In The Access Zone: How To Turn “NO” Into “YES”. However, you must clearly define your goals and objectives to use this art. Otherwise, you may not get the result you need.
If you cannot define your goal – use the following technique: imagine that your goal is a puzzle, to finish a picture you must find the right piece to place – a smaller goal that has to be accomplished first to reach a greater goal. Once you identify a smaller objective, you can select the appropriate Doors and act accordingly. If you do not define your goal, Qi Men’s techniques will not bring the desired result.
Qi Men is not a database with ready-made answers. Qi Men will not bring the desired result if you do nothing to achieve your goal. Qi Men will not help if you sabotage your work by being lazy or showing a lack of initiative; or if you are constrained by fear of doing something new.
I believe that Qi Men is not merely a tool that helps us win, it helps us to attune our minds to a winning strategy – it teaches us to think as winners of our lives.
P.S. Remember that Qi Men is just a tool. It is an effective instrument in the right hands and a dangerous one in unskilled ones. Therefore, find a good use for it. Even though victory is important, do not turn a blind eye to those around you.
