Have you ever wondered whether knowing the right date and time for one of your most important tasks is possible? In metaphysics, we believe it is possible, and some days are more auspicious than others. Surely, no one suggests that personal success is purely determined by the day’s “auspiciousness.” Success still must be achieved through efforts and dedication to your goal. So, how should we determine whether the day is auspicious or not? To answer this question, we should take a closer look at the art known as Date Selection.
This art incorporates different approaches to selecting days, auspicious or not. In our school, we use the Shen Sha method. In other words, we consider 10 Deities of the Bazi chart found in the day. This is the first system of Date Selection to consider – 60 Jia Zi (a calendar system that includes combinations of the 10 Heavenly Stems and 12 Earthly Branches). The second system is tightly connected to the first one and is known as 12 indicators – 12 cyclical factors obtained through Earthly Branches of the month.
For instance, every 12 days, we have a “successful” day. If this day does not clash with the current month or year, we can use it to initiate or implement major projects, tasks, or goals. Naturally, good days come along with bad ones – each month has at least two such days. It is strongly recommended not to use these days for major projects or plans.
There are also other systems. One is based on 28 Lunar Mansions, and the other is on Qi Men Dun Jia. There is also a system that is built upon Xuan Kong Da Gua. However, at the core of all these systems lies Shen Sha or 60 Jia Zi system. All the systems use the first one as a foundation in one way or another.
As you can see, the art of Date Selection is not limited to one unified system, but a collection of different approaches. It might take quite a few days to examine them all. However, you can try out whether these days work without getting deep into the subtle art of Date Selection. For this reason, we suggest trying out the Metaphysical Calendar, 12 Outstanding Months of the Year first, and checking whether these days work.
In the Calendar, we outlined personal days to be taken advantage of and days to be avoided. An auspicious day can be distinguished from a conflict day by color (handy instructions are included). Additionally, we outlined days with specific complexity to know what kind of setbacks you may face on the selected day.
Moreover, 12 Outstanding Months of the Year is a personalized copy that contains “Golden Days” or “3X”. These are the most auspicious days to start working or continue working on the most important plans or projects, dealing with financial matters or other business-related issues. There are also days for brainstorming and making plans since these are vital components of your future success.
