In September 2012 I stayed in a small hotel at the far end of the park along the waterfront of Miami Beach.
Although this is not the type of hotel that I like …
But the balcony overlooked the ocean, and the room was huge, so it was good enough …
And on the east coast in the morning, you can go to the balcony and see a gorgeous sunrise over the ocean …
And because of the time difference at 5 am I woke up without an
alarm clock, writing articles and waiting for the sunrise …
And the proximity to the Heminguey island
Key West together with the famous”The Old Man and the Sea” adjusts to the writer’s mood …
One evening I asked
receptionist at the hotel –
“Is it ok to swim in the ocean after the sunset?”
– “It all depends on the definition of the word” okay. ”
If you ask in terms of whether it is legal, yes. Up to 12 am (or whatever is written on the labels on the beach).
If you’re asking whether it is safe …
Yesterday on the nearby beach the shark bit off dude’s leg …
On the other hand, the probability of being
bitten by a shark is much lower than being killed by a lightning strike …
So decide for yourself to swim or not to swim. I would not.
Such an intelligent speech – I did not expect to hear it in a place where receptionist barely speaks English!
As it turned out, this guy was a chemistry student, part-time – receptionist …
We think that stress, alcohol, obesity, hypertension… kills us?
All of this is the result …
Actually there is one thing that kills us … cortisol
The so-called “stress hormone” …
The biggest paradox is
that it is produced not at the moment of real danger …when we are on adrenaline …
Cortisol is produced when
Waiting for something bad …
What usually is unlikelyto happen …
As a lightning strike or a shark bite …
Just as dopamine produced
while waiting for something good …
During the path of an orgasm … (falling to zero when the orgasm is obvious) …
Or in anticipation of winning the lottery (which is even less likely than
shark bite or a lightning strike) …
But we wait and get ‘high’ …
Whereas in the case of cortisol we wait
and get stressed …
Both of these situations – waiting for a win or crash – occur exclusively in our heads …
And the wisdom is to make these hormonal fluctuations not chaotic,
but rather under control of reality …
Or control the madness …
as did Castaneda …
Or by reality distortion as the masters of Zen and Steve Jobs did…
For example, using art of Mystic doors …
In BaZi the so-called earthy punishment exists …
or degrading punishment …
Bull – Goat – Dog …
If they are in the map, then …
Masters BaZi say that there is a tendency to cancer …
In fact, I made a discovery,
that it is not about oncology …
not about stress …
and still about the same cortisol …
To be continued in the second part of the article …
Excellent Feng Shui!
